Whether you're sending a bouquet just because, planning wedding florals, or honoring a loved one, we're here to help. Below are answers to the most commonly asked questions about our floral delivery services and in-store offerings.

1. Where does Blooming Blossoms deliver flowers?

We proudly offer flower delivery throughout Providence, Rhode Island and the surrounding areas. Our local flower delivery zone includes:

Barrington

East Providence

Johnston

Lincoln

Pawtucket

2. Do you deliver flowers to funeral homes?

Yes. We offer same-day and scheduled flower delivery to funeral homes in Providence and nearby towns. Sympathy arrangements, standing sprays, and custom floral tributes are available. Visit our Funeral Flowers page for current options or reach out for a custom design.

3. Do you deliver to hospitals in the Providence area?

Yes, we deliver to local hospitals including Rhode Island Hospital, Women & Infants, Miriam Hospital, and others in the region. Flowers are a thoughtful way to send love, support, or well wishes - but please note that some hospital units may not accept deliveries.

 

Before placing a hospital order, we recommend confirming with the hospital staff that the patient is allowed to receive flowers. Certain areas, like ICUs or immunocompromised units, often do not permit deliveries, and our drivers are not allowed to bring flowers directly to patient rooms.

 

If a hospital rejects the delivery at the front desk, the order will not be eligible for a refund, so it’s best to double-check before ordering.

4. Can you deliver to nursing homes or retirement communities?

Absolutely. We regularly deliver to nursing homes and retirement communities across our service area, such as Laurelmead and Wingate, located at 355 Blackstone Blvd on the East Side of Providence. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, holiday, or sending a little joy just because—we’ve got you covered.

 

5. Do you deliver flowers to cemeteries?

Yes. We offer cemetery flower delivery, including seasonal tributes and custom grave-side arrangements. We deliver regularly to Swan Point Cemetery in Providence and are happy to accommodate special requests.

 

6. What days do you deliver flowers?

We offer flower delivery seven days a week. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 10:30 am ET/EST.

 

7. Can I schedule a delivery for a specific time?

We do our best to honor timed delivery requests, especially for funeral services and events. While exact delivery times aren’t guaranteed for all orders, we prioritize time-sensitive deliveries whenever possible.

 

8. What types of occasions do you deliver for?

From anniversaries and birthdays to thank-you flowers, sympathy arrangements, and seasonal celebrations, we create floral designs for every moment. Need help choosing? Just ask - we’re happy to make suggestions.

 

9. Do you offer same-day flower delivery in Providence?

Yes! Same-day flower delivery is available in Providence and surrounding towns. Be sure to place your order by 10:30 am ET/EST for same-day service.

10. Do you offer plant delivery in Providence?

Yes! Blooming Blossoms offers plant delivery throughout Providence and nearby towns. Whether you're sending a lush green houseplant, a blooming orchid, or a seasonal offering, plants make a lasting and thoughtful gift. You can order plants online here.

 

11. Can I include a message with my flower delivery?

Yes. Every Blooming Blossoms arrangement includes your note, handwritten on our message cards, so you can send love, encouragement, or a sweet surprise along with your flowers.

 

12. Does Blooming Blossoms do wedding flowers?

13. Do you offer in-store pickup?

Yes - we offer in-store pickup for online flower orders. Just select “pickup” on our order page.

 

14. Do you sell gifts in the shop?

We do! The shop is always stocked with seasonal gifts and favorites for flower and plant lovers. You’ll find greeting cards, candles, beautiful vases and pots, a variety of houseplants, fresh pre-made bouquets, and handcrafted gifts by local artists. View our newest arrivals on our Instagram page!

15. Where is Blooming Blossoms located?

You’ll find us on Hope Street on the East Side of Providence. Look for the “Flowers” mural and our seasonal sidewalk plant display - come say hello!

 

16. Does Blooming Blossoms host events?

Yes - we love to host community events when we can! From pop-up art shows to walk-in workshops with plant and garden tips, there’s always something blooming. Follow us on Instagram or sign up for our email newsletters to stay in the loop.
